The Palm Springs Modern Committee presents Viva Las Vegas!, a rollicking slide talk featuring hundreds of vintage images that tell the story of the fabulous desert oasis from its birth in 1905 through the 1970s. Combined with a mini film fest of vintage clips of Las Vegas in its heyday from home movies of the Strip and Fremont Street, to some of the legendary entertainers and lounge acts that made Vegas nightlife the swingin’ place to be!   Presented by historian and author Peter Moruzzi and PS ModCom president, Courtney Newman aka Mr. Modernway. Don’t miss this highly entertaining presentation while enjoying a “Sin City” cocktail and popcorn. This is an outside event, please bring your own chairs.
