Advances in 3D printing could be a solution to California’s housing crisis, without compromising design and quality. 3D printing technology provides numerous opportunities for innovation, particularly in regards to sustainability and eliminating waste, and designing for zero net energy in various climate zones throughout the state. This session will look at how home construction is being disrupted by 3D printing including a case study for a master plan in Coachella Valley, and what the benefits are for builders, developers, home buyers and most importantly, the environment.
Panel speakers: Mighty Buildings together with developer partner for this project, Palari Group, and EYRC Architects.
