Jickie Torres wants to give back to midcentury modern know-how in Palm Springs in a way she hasn’t before: through her first book, Remodeled Marvels, and all its hard-learned lessons for midcentury modern renovators. Join her for this conversation about what the book can teach you about designing, planning and managing your renovation. Following a presentation of some of her book’s findings with a panel of design and preservation experts, Jickie will answer your questions. Join her afterward for a book signing immediately after the event.
With more than 15 years in the publishing industry, Jickie is a leader in all things architecture, home and décor. She works as the editor of Atomic Ranch, has hosted panels for Modernism Week, and appears frequently on midcentury modern and home podcasts across the country. When she’s not writing, styling, or photographing, Jickie works on her own renovation of a 1951 midcentury modern ranch in Southern California.
