Canyon View Estates (1961) was one of the first "leisure lifestyle" condominium communities built in California. William Krisel, architect, and Roy Fey, developer, were the pioneering design/build duo who teamed up to create this distinctive, retro-futuristic modernist enclave. These bright white homes feature soaring rooflines and triangular clerestory windows, geometric concrete shadow block paired with a variety of breeze block patterns -- all set within rolling grass common areas and abundant swimming pools. This cinematic oasis in the desert has appeared on the silver screen and on the pages of many fashion and design magazines.
Tour the interiors of nine stunning modernist homes -- five of which have never been on tour before. Also, there will be a vintage car in every carport.
