The Stahl House is admired by architects and fans from all over the world, but little is known about the lives that unfolded within its walls and the unusual role they played in creating it. From the siblings who lived there, hear the full story of this iconic house, from their parents’ initial vision of the home through the drama of its creation in 1960 and its continuing life today. See never-before-published footage and photos and a preview of the documentary coming in 2022.
Authors of The Stahl House: The Making of a Modernist Icon, Shari Stahl Gronwald and Bruce Stahl grew up in the only Case Study House in the hands of original owners. As stewards of the house, they open its doors to thousands of people every year for tours. Writer Kim Cross is a New York Times best-selling author.
Ticket price includes a copy of the book, which the authors will sign immediately following the presentation.
